I entered the fitness industry over 15 years ago. I started teaching kickboxing and discovered my passion for fitness. I am a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. I am a certified group instructor through AFAA. I am also certified in TRX , yoga, kickboxing and RIPPED training. I am married and have three amazing children!

I look forward to every opportunity to work with individuals to make positive changes in their lives. It is an honor and a privilege to be part of one's fitness journey and overall personal growth.
I provide individual and group training sessions. An initial assessment is completed and then a program is designed based upon your individual goals and needs. I encourgage goal setting and continual re-assessment to keep clients motivated and constantly improving.
RECIPE OF THE MONTH
4 Whole Portobello mushroom caps, stems removed
1/2 c low fat, lower sugar marinara sauce
1/2 c lean turkey italian sausage, cooked, drained, and crumbled
4T shredded fat free or low fat mozeralla cheese
2 t freshly grated parmesan cheese
1 T chopped fresh basil
Preheat oven to 350. Wipe mushrooms clean of any dirt. Place them on a baking sheet, gill side up. Spoon sauce over each cap, then sprinkle on the sausage and cheeses. Place the mushrooms in the oven and bake for 6-8 minutes or until cheese is melted. Garnish with fresh basil or parsley.
Per serving: 97 calories, 10g protein, 7g carbs, 2 g sugars, 3 g fat, 22 cholesterol, 2g fiber, 305 mg sodium
WHAT TO DO WHEN CRAVINGS KICK IN:
1. Cup of tea
2. Distract yourself-read, clean, call a friend
3. Sugarless gum
4. Brush your teeth so food would taste terrible if you ate it!
5. Go to the gym
6. Take a walk
7. Go to bed if it is a late night craving
8. Drink a tall glass of water with fruit slice or cucumber slice
9. Read your email
10. Stay strong!! Don't give in! Remind yourself the craving will pass in minutes but giving into the craving will result in more lasting effects that you might not like! :)
